The Importance of a Project: Let’s Go Down the Rabbit Hole Together

As Paul Eluard said “There is another world, and it’s inside this one.”

Projects are essential for creative people. That is why creating a container or a structure
around a project is essential. Often we set a course to do a body of work, and it
never materializes. We get distracted or our intentions get fuzzy. In this project-based
workshop, Laurie will discuss the power of generating a project. Topics include
brainstorming your intentions, clarity of concept, and designing a structure around the
various components. Together we will lay out a road map to direct you from conception to
completion. We will also discuss the importance of being held accountable. This could be
part of your legacy.

The class is limited to 12 participants. We will meet once a week for 3 weeks for 2.5 hours.
Additionally, on June 15 & 22, you will have a 20-minute individual session with Laurie
during o!ce hours. You will pick your two 20-minute slots after the “rst class. O!ce Hours
will be held on June 15 & 22.
